09.2001 - Dome in Milano
This was the first big dome I was able to build after discovering Buckminter Fullers works. The whole event was sponsored by the Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with the free democratic students (LSD) organisation.
2001 the city of Milan got fast speed internet. The fiberglass cables run in polypropilene tubes which fit perfectly for my installation in the campus of the university.
The dome was designed for a 3 day student exhibition and party in the Univerity campus of Milano Bovisa. After this event the dome was build in three other locations in the Milan area for scenografic pourposes.
